FS: Anybody looking for a bike? 2008 Ducati 1098, 5k miles
2008 Ducati 1098, just under 5K miles but may make it over as I do drive it a little. Bike is super clean and gorgeous, to see it in person it's even more sexy than the pictures. Bike has a TON of torque and horsepower, not for a beginner thats for sure. I came off an R6 and what an eye opener. It will walk my Supercharged Vette thats for sure. Sounds and looks absolutely amazing. Clean title, no liens, never been down. New rear Dunlop Sport Maxx Q3 about 300 miles ago. 1st service was due at 600 miles, and the second service is due at 7,500, although the bike has had like 3 or 4 services since new already with only 4900miles. Just to keep everything checked over.
Asking $10,200 because of the low mileage, blue book is $10,435. If you come look at it and find a reason why it's not worth what I'm asking then we can talk, but I won't knock $1000 off on the phone before you even lay eyes on this immaculate bike.

WOW..... it never ceases to amaze me at the closed minded, ignorant crowd of people we have here. Granted this guy has been here about 2 years but it's not like he registered yesterday and is posting stuff for sale. He included his name, number and offered to email/text pics if needed? He mentioned he would post a link to his CL ad later? He posted a full description, price and contact info? Why the harsh treatment?

Its not Spam. If you text me I will send you pictures of it. I cant publish the CL add because personal emails like GMAIL and Hotmail are blocked at work. So when I get home tonight I can actually publish the add, and there are no pictures on here because you cant access photobucket at work either. Security runs a pretty tight ship. I can assure you the bike is real as I rode it last night and I wasnt on a flying carpet. If anyone serious actually wants pictures or to talk to me about the bike I can text or email them without a problem.

Awesome bike man! I've always love them but with a 2 year old daughter, bikes are a thing of the past for me. Good luck selling it, even though it'll go quick.

Bump for a new price, knocked 200 off because the front tire is getting closer to replacement. Still much less than other 1098s out there and this bike is super clean and sharp.

Its gotta be the price man. I've got my 07 1098 listed on ebay for 10k or best offer and havn't had any bites. Only has 1k miles too. Are u over at the ducati.ms forums?

yes, but a new member so i Cant post listings there so that was kinda worthless lol. Im sure when spring comes our phones will be ringing off the hook. Im looking to trade mine for a Can Am outlander 800 XMR
