Default challenger hellcat runs 10.8 @126

Wow if Dodge can make a 4200 lb car run in the 10's ....that is going to sell some cars period.

Thats faster than the Viper

A bit misleading since that is with tires added. If dodge was smart they would have drag radials/wheels as an option so they can claim 10 second factory ride.

11.2@125 on the factory tires isn't bad at all though.

It's a muscle car for sure , straight line . I prefer my Stingray , a " Sports " car . How much g-force can it do in a turn ?

The SRT line is fat and clumsy(4200 lb)

But a 10 sec factory ride will sell a lot of units and most certainly kill viper sales.....maybe a prelude to the hemi viper..?

6 piston brembo , nice rear diff, sticky tires just guessing on the handling but probably .095 -0.96

current 392 challenger loaded @ $50,000 range

Hopefully GM will step up to the plate on this one with the Camaro. Dodge is not playing around. But it seems like they have a long way to go. The ZL1 would probably kill this car on the track course. Anyway this is great for the Dodge boys. Needless to say, a stock C7 won't touch this. These numbers are comparable to the big boys in the 1/4 mile. Go Dodge

and probably other things as well.

It's because of the Mustang crowds constant mis-representation of the term "stock"... that "bone stock" phrase had to start being used.

Look; if (hypothetically) a factory Yugo can be made to do 11's in the 1/4 mile by simply removing the rear seat and running zero weight oil... then don't go around claiming that " stock Yugos run 11's in the 1/4 mile."

Instead; tell it like it really is, and be proud of what one accomplished.

Seems like one of these Hellcat threads is popping up every day. This doesn't belong in Tech - it barely belongs in C7 General.

Blaming this on mustang owners? Bhahahahaahahha. All types of car owners pull that same crap. Dodge, GM, Ford, Import, Exotic, etc.

Might as well say all corvette owners are gold chain wearing old men with small dicks if you are going to start throwing out stupid stereotypes.

Yes, plenty of faster cars. Internet racing is lame anyways. 99.5% of people won't be able to run a 10.8 in a hellcat, or a 11.1 in a zr1. Who cares what someone runs on a specific day across the country with someone else driving the car?

Half the fun for me at the drag strip is beating people who think their cars are going to run what magazines or what people at MIR on a mineshaft air day went on a perfect pass with killer track prep.
