Waiting for 15s and having a look at the new Lexus FC Sport
Was doing an "around the horn" to find $65k cars that may be options to the C7 as the 15s are always from the street and the 14s are not a consideration for me anymore. I eliminated everything German and came upon the yet to be released Lexus RC F Coupe

All I can say is yeah this is a Corvette forum but this Lexus looks promising and may be an alternative for those of us who don't have good favorable GM dealerships.

Yeah that is who they are going after. I am comparing it to the Vette. I am not much of a German car fan. But that is indeed the target for the car not the Corvette.......Well maybe the 450HP version. I am waiting on pricing.
The BMW M4 coupe, is reported to have 416-450hp, at an estimated to price at just over $60K. The RC F should be the answer to the M4, The Lexus with the 350 should be priced at $55K The RC-F probably above $65K
I am also visiting Criswell and Kerbeck on my way up to see family next week. I want to stay hot on the Corvette but my local service options have in no uncertain terms let it be know I won't get the level of service on a Kerbeck car I would if I ordered from them at full MSRP. On principle I am looking at alternatives. Lexus service is far far above GM. I was at the service dept today and they are overwhelmed with recalls with no "parts" and angry customers, They are opening a call center to ease the calls the three service advisors have to deal with.
I would love to see the RC in a Vert though. Otherwise its more like my old G37 than a Vette

Gonna be a tough decision if its around $65K I have decided after long thought I prefer the coupe over the VERT and the new 8 Speed. Auto over the M7 The look is just better. So I just saved myself $4000 there. But that puts the Lexus in the running.

I saw an RCF the other day on the highway. Looked fantastic.
