I am sure this crash has been posted already here but it punctuates the debate over the new Z. Some cars are designed to turn, some are not.

I think there is a big difference between a run on the Ring and on the street.

The only thing this shows is that fast cars crash... Even in the hands of skilled professionals. Most often it is related to the driver having more money than driving skill, but even those with skill need to respect these cars

I feel for the owner of that cool hellcat.
Jim Mero testing on the ring.....not so much...
Both great cars still gm did in fact create a car that can better offer the total performance package...
Nothing can fix driver error...yet I believe gm did a much better job of offering a better performing balanced package.

I guess I should buy one just so my insurance premiums go to zero $.
And another bridge somewhere is missing a troll.
So let me guess, first step to extract tears is you put your own head in a vice....
Dvandentop, I did a google search for wrecked hellcat Colorado and found lots of links.

Must be the tow truck. One of the links I found had photos of the accident site in daylight along with clear pics of the skid marks....on the road not the driver's underwear

But it would appear quantity is indicative of quality here. The more I see of the posts on these threads, the more convinced I am that evolution is a two way process. Who knew the C7ZO6 would be the catalyst of scientific discovery?

Like this can't happen to a car with rear wheel drive and 400 HP with frozen street temps and when you are not familiar with the car.

Excusing someone's poor judgement in personal restraint resulting in a wreck of that magnitude? Nope...sorry. It was an idiot, going too fast in the conditions and (likely) showing off.
It reminds me of all those C6Z06 pictures of cars wrecked just up the road from the dealers lot.
Stupidity...that's all it was. Hopefully nobody got hurt from his lack of common sense.
