A rear-mid-engine car with the engine longitudinal is not out of date on the street but is exceptional on the street. Also, the V8 engine.
The bodywork of a kit car is likely to have some simple angles. Basically, I don't like the car in yellow or orange but burgundy is okay.

But the GTM is very lean without much trim or luxury. So it's a sports car closer to a track car rather than a sports car that is like a Cadillac.
I can find a new Audi R8 for $125,000 or a used Ferrari 360 for $75,000 but I can't do a weekend LS3 engine swap on those for $6,787.99

haha yeah. some times that shot can come off a little cheesy but with the red cover matching the red accents it just worked and looks mean per the requirement of the thread

I like the Nismo a lot, but its not mean looking. The Gen IV Viper ACR will always be one of the meanest looking cars out there.

At 880 WHP and 795 FT # and spinning to 8650 RPM's this car IS mean.
