Default What do you suppose they discuss over on the Prius forum?

In all seriousness, I was curious about this the other day, and thought it would be fun to talk about here!

I'm a member of this forum, a Mustang forum, and even a Land Cruiser forum. I cant possibly imagine what Prius owners would discuss, but I guess they do discuss something, right?

Thoughts?

They discuss whether to scape off the Obama bumper stickers or just put the Bernie/Hillary sticker over them

My assumption is that it falls into three distinctive topics; technical questions, best or better MPGs, and modifications.

The first two are kind of a no-brainer, especially considering the Prius' selling point you want a good operating car that gets high MPGs. However I have a feeling that there is legitimate interest in modifications to the Prius. It's just the market for that hasn't caught on outside Japan. Honestly as much as you may want to joke about a Prius it is rather odd considering that in Japan the Prius is held in higher regard than it is in North America and a thriving aftermarket for the Prius exists. One may joke that it seems silly that a Prius owner would want to make modifications, but an automotive enthusiast is an enthusiast regardless of what they drive.

I ultimately foresee a similar situation that occurs as with my daily driver, a MK7 Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta has a tremendous following and aftermarket in Europe. However, that same level has yet to make it's way to North America - unless you purchase an ST. Most of our discussions over in the general Fiesta chats have to do with getting the best bang for the buck and dealing with the cards handed to us.

Panties for men, red and black Obama Pajamas, clip-on ties, watching The View, cats, etc.

Anything that doesn't involve excessive displays of testosterone.

I bet they spend most of their time showing videos of them roll racing obsolete C6 Z06's.

Same crap corvette clowns talk about - floor mats, what new boutique wax is best, what metal polish is best for the inside of tailpipes, micro fiber towel brands, car covers, and other super edgy stuff.
