Keep my C5Z or sell for a CTS-V 09+
I have a feeler/FS thread on my C5Z and have been thinking of getting a CTSV 09+. Im really wanting a wagon but think its out of my price point. So been looking at sedans and coupes. My price point right now is around $35-$38k. It will be a weekend car and some 1/2 mile event races. Just a fun car to drive and could be a nice cruiser. They seem fairly easy to mod and not much more than a corvette. Also been looking at C6Z but I dont think I want another corvette. What car would you pick and why?

I love my 2013 A6 CTS-V coupe, but unless you need a back seat I would keep your Z. You have one of the best looking C5Z's I've ever seen. I would buy will car today if I didn't already have a CTS-V, 03 Cobra, C6Z, and C7Z.

Thank you for the kind words. I dont need a back seat but would be nice to have. Im just to point of being bored with my car. Kind of lost interest in it.

I went from a C6 GS to a CTS-V and while I loved the car, it didn't have the same driving feel as a Vette. The weight and horrible gas mileage will get to you and you will see why it needs 550hp. If a C5Z and V where put in front of me today, I would go with the Z hands down. Now, for a second car to haul around a family, the V is perfect.
BTW, I badly want your car, but have too much invested in my C7 at this time. It's exactly what I will be looking for next summer.

The V is going to be a nicer place to be in than a C5. Personally, I'd stretch my money for a wagon with a manual. You'll likely have a better return on your money with it as it is quite rare.

I would love to have a V wagon 6 speed but finding one for under $60k is almost impossible. Or just finding a V wagon is hard enough.
