You are spending money modding a car that you lease and don't own?

Only mods are A CAI and mid muffler deletes. Tint is a must. No other mods are planned on the leased HC. The new HC will go on the same dyno when the mileage is about the same as when I dyno'd the leased car.

It's interesting that Ma Mopar only seems to be offering these very attractive lease options on the Manual Tranny and not the Auto Tranny Hellcat (as I guess b/c the auto is the hot set-up for most they just are not willing (Mopar) to offer the same killer deal on the auto tranny Hellcat.

Or, has that changed in the last 2 months? Are the now offering these same great lease options on an Auto trans Hellcat that will run into the high 10s with sticky tires?

They have attractive lease deals for all of them.
I grabbed one a few months ago and run the lease through my business.
It's gone 11.1 @ 126 mph bone stock on Pirelli all-seasons, lol. Not C7Z fast, but incredible for a 4500# 4-door.

You can still get 599 per month for 36 months 12k per year with 2900 down on leftover 2016's. It just so happens that my local dealer only had M6 2016's left and I would not want an auto even though the auto is more consistent if racing. I believe they still have a Pitch Black 2016 M6 or at least they did 2 weeks ago.

The stock summer tires are not sticky at all. They are too narrow at P275. You can get 10.5" wheels and go 305. A few guys have gone to an 11" wheel with 315's but there is some modification required to get them to fit. They also tend to snap half-shafts if you launch hard on DR's. 1st gear is basically useless on the street, once you hit second, hold on!

I have a Jetstream blue zr1 and I get thumbs up a lot. I'm not sure if anyone knows it's a zr1 but they definitely like it. I was considering a Go Mango Hellcat. I'm sure that would get a few looks.
What I have

What I might get

You mean like this?

My son picked up the 499 per month payment and I sold my GT350 for the Go Mango. Too hard to resist 18% off MSRP.

I assume with the announcement of the Demon and the 17's already out, Dodge wanted to clear out the 16's. My local dealer had 3 2016 Challengers in stock. I had to have an M6 even though I know the A8 is faster. I went with a Pitch Black M6 with no options. In all fairness, the car is pretty highly optioned even as a base. Trans, Sunroof and Wheel/Tire combos are the only real options.

We all know Dodge rates these as 707 HP. I think many believe Dodge was very conservative with those numbers. I'm about to embark on some mods. I thought I would get a baseline before starting the mods. The only current mods are more for sound than performance. It has an intake and I deleted the mid mufflers. The rest of the car is bone stock. It had 3300 miles when it rolled onto the dyno. I don't put a lot of value in a dyno other than for a tool to see what gains you actually make. I'm not a bench racer.

All the above said, either I have a VERY friendly dyno, Dodge way underestimated the HP, or my car is some kind of freak. We did 4 runs and used the first run and the last for the below graph. The tune is stock. I was very surprised with the results.

Those of you who have spent a lot of time here may know I had modified my C7 with the Novi 1500 S/C, Meth injection, LT headers and a tune done by ECS and it put down 696 RWHP.

I do miss my Corvette but I have to say that I'm having a blast in the Hellcat and the GT350.
It does not have to be a friendly dyno, my hellcat has been on 3 different dyno's in 3 different states, it put down 719, 727, 738 at the wheels, mine is an auto with nothing but a Legmaker carbon fiber intake, NO TUNING

Great choice in cars and color! What tires are you running on the Hellcat?
