Default Just Picked up this bad boy

I have been daily driving my C7 Z06 since November. It was really fun but really difficult at the same time, I life in North Carolina where the weather can't make up its mind. On cold days it was really hard to drive, when it rains its also hard to drive. But on those warm days it is the best thing you can ever drive. I was going to the Ford dealership to buy a Ford Fusion Hybrid because I wanted a comfortable daily driver that was good on gas. Somehow I came home with this bad boy. The 2017 Charger Hellcat with the really soft laguna leather seats, I was lucky to find one in this price fully loaded. I don't think my wallet is lucky anymore.

Congrats on the Hellcat! One insane sedan..... just a little quicker than the Hybrid Fusion you were considering. Enjoy the ride! Easy on the rear tires!

Default My impressions

Thank you for the good wishes. The car is really comfortable, but steering wheel is too thick. Gas mileage is terrible, sound system is good, handling is bad but acceleration is amazing. But does not have the scare factor like the Z06 it's much smoother and the transmission is amazing so are the brakes. Rear seats have no arm rests im mad about that

erm from 650+hp to 707hp, the thing is the hellcat has a 500hp mode and it is much better tuned for the roads, I drove it out in the pouring rain today it did pretty good. There was a lot of sliding going on but hey, never said I was the smartest cookie lol

Congrats on your new Hellcat. They are fast and have a great exhaust note. Is the Z gone or do you have it for a sunny day toy?

I do have the Z06 still, however I have not driven it for almost a week now! I just can't stop driving the hellcat. The power is very smooth and it has that duel personality, you can tame it and drive it slow where as the Z06 a monster that is hard to tame. The traction control in the hellcat is also a lot better, it doesn't hit you in the head it modulates wheel spin a lot better. However I can conclude that the Z06 is much faster then the hellcat.

Congrats, I went from a 16 Z51 to a 17 Hellcat Challenger last November. Personally, I like the big fat muscle car feel. The Vette would obviously chew it up on a road course, but I am just a cruiser who goes fast from from time to time.

this indeed does have the big fat muscle car feeling, but more importantly it has the rental car charger feeling when you need it to. also people get out of the way when you are coming up behind them I just wish it had a rear armrest lol

It's weird because the Challengers have it, they just took it of the Charger for some reason.
