Not a C6 , not even a Vette...but we are all "car guys" and most would enjoy..... I am a volunteer guide at a car museum and yesterday had the pleasure of moving this beast! 56 T-bird!

Older T-birds have their fans for sure. I've never been one of them however.

Ah yes, I love those 2-seaters. Looked just like the full sized Ford only reduced in size. I remember seeing them cruising around the streets when nobody thought much about them.

I think the all Corvette ( or any one make/model only) shows are pretty lame.

It's just amazing how "mechanical" the old cars were...all the metal, the clunks and clanks of the doors.....everything! One thing I remembered to do before turning the key.....pump the accelerator 2 or three times, then floor it! ....boom, started right up!

Just reread my post and Boy Howdy, My typing skills suck!
But anyway, Yes them were the days, pumping the accelerator to start. Technology has came a long ways for sure but one thing to say about them older vehicles ( not that I don't appreciate all the new stuff ) but, they sure were a lot easier to work on back then.

What museum is it? My wife and I have been planning a Pennsylvania trip for some time now, and I'd be happy to add a stop to the list!

Looks like the AACA museum in Hershey, well worth a visit. They do a car show and open house every so often when they open up the warehouse in the back as well as the museum. Lots of fun driving roads in the Lancaster area as well.

I always liked the overall styling of the 2-seater T-birds (especially in white). I always think of American Graffiti when I see one. Thanks for sharing.

Yup...that's us! The moderators have moved this thread....sad....I was simply trying to communicate with my fellow "car folks" on the C6 forum.....guess you can't bring up ANYTHING if its not related to the C6, but this was not offensive, political, or any of that ....sorry, but I grew up loving cars, the Vette the most of all and we have a couple of Vettes in the museum where I work....host various Vette club shows, etc. Moving this post to wherever it went was not a good idea. The forum DOES need to be moderated...but good grief, we don't have to be annal!!
