I was driving between Bend and Redmond Oregon today and saw two police cars up ahead on the side of the road. As we passed them I saw a golden Bugatti Veyron that was pulled over. Not only was I shocked to see what appeared to be a gold plated Bugatti but to see it in this location was astounding. The most exotic car I've ever seen in Central Oregon prior to this is my own Z06 :-)

This is the land of pickups and SUV's. There are many places in southern California and Arizona where seeing a Ferrari or Lambo is no big deal but that would be extraordinary here. So to see a Veyron is a one in a million chance.

There can't be too many "gold plated" Veyrons out there so if anybody has seen one, let me know. It's HIGHLY unlikely this guy was from around here so I'm curious where he came from - and where he was going.

I saw a gold plated rolls royce down on I5 in cali in the middle of nowhere. He stopped at mcdonalds to get.a bite to eat. Was a young chinese male, with broken english when he orderd. Ive heard stories these guys import their fancy cars to the states and drive them around while on vacation here. When you have unlimited funds you can do anything.

Hey! That's it!!! I live in Sunriver which is part of their route but I didn't see any of the cars while they were in Sunriver. The guy with the Bugatti Veyron that was pulled over must have been on his way to Seattle from Sunriver.
