86 coupe with 101k worth it?
I found a 1986 vette coupe with 101k miles. Apparently it's in good condition and nothing is need (besides breaks). He is asking about $6500. Is this worth it or no?
Not sure what to look for....

That is about right depending on condition and mechanicals. If you have some detailed pics it would help us assess it's value. Stay away if it has the 4 plus 3 manual transmission. They are a nightmare.

little on the high side but if its very sound not totally out of line
they are easy to maintain get decent mpg dont have to worry about them getting stolen.
big thing with those cars is making sure the electronics work and no hiccups as far as how it runs.

Unfortunately the o.p hasn't been on the Forum since the day he posed the question. Guess we won't know what he did.
