Nice car, my co-worker has a Charger Scat Pack and loves it. He started with a C5 Z06 had kids and went to a Camaro ILE and then to the Scat Pack.
I am thinking about going the opposite direction. I went from a 2014 C7 Z51 to a 2015 BMW M3. I have missed the C7 since owning the M3.
Now I am thinking about this Z06

Hey brooklyn, first of all, congrats on your new little one!! I remember when we started having kids one of the vehicles had to go to make room for a more 'kid friendly' vehicle, so I sold my '69 SS396 and got a van! Talk about a downer from a vehicle perspective. But I've never regretted trading a car for something more family friendly, and have had lots of fun cars since.
You've got a great new car and I hope you enjoy it and, most of all, your growing family. Stay safe. You'll be back.

So what was the deal? If I have some money again in the near future I'm thinking I want a new daily driver. Keeping the C7 though. I really dig the ATS-V (if the lease deal is right) but this car is really cool too. MPG is 16/22 correct? Not terrible. Probably similar to the 04 GTO I DD right now. GTO sticker said 28 highway, but the highway has to be slightly down hill for 28 MPG.

Great car. Enjoy it. I just don't like the passenger side of dash. Could've done better there. Not befitting the rest of the car. That's a pretty weak complaint. But nonetheless. That's the difference with the cts v. But its also 20k more.

I know its subjective when judging what is 'off topic' but still worthy of inclusion. But I think you made the right decision on this one. From his related thread, the OP is a long time Corvette owner, and is reluctantly giving up his current Corvette for something more family friendly. It happens to a lot of guys. And while I'm not in that situation, as a car enthusiast, I can still appreciate the conversation of potential replacement vehicles. And I expect that we'll see brooklyn back on the forum in a few years, just in time to pick up a C8 or the ME car.

My concern..........
............it's the manufacturer; the history of Chrysler even before it's purchase by Fiat was one of poor quality of manufacturing.....I had an old friend who was a Chrysler mechanic and the catch phrase at the dealership's shop was "Jesus Chrysler" until he finally left for greener pastures.......

Beautiful car. I'm going to try to enjoy the 2 seater world as long as I can. A friend of mine recently purchased a similar hellcat (different color) and is in love with it. I'm sure you will be as well. Looking forward to your honest review!
