Default GT350s are also overheating on track.....lawsuit following...

Not sure how many of you knew about this, but I was just reading about it myself. Apparently the GT350's are having overheating problems on track and a law firm is taking on a class-action lawsuit suing Ford on behalf of all the owners..... sounds partially familiar and very interesting... waiting to hear the results. And to think, I was contemplating a GT350 to get away from A8 transmission issues....

This has been known for a few months. Not likely to go anywhere as Ford had a TRACK OPTION that they chose not to purchase. Ford later made that option standard.

Yup, probably the only winners from the case will be the lawyers. There wasn't much legal standing to sue with, and the owners probably should have bought cars with the track package if they planned to track their car.

It's akin to suing for your truck without a tow package doesn't tow a 10000 pound trailer

Old news. This is why they offered the Track Pack..... They've also fixed this for 2017 models.

Track package was offered for the 15/16 GT350's as well as a Tech Package. If owners bought the tech package instead of the track package and it overheats at the track how is Ford Liable?

Find it amusing, how in general people buy a production car then cry because it behaves like one. want a real race car, go build one

Supercharged car overheating, yeah duh.
