Default Where to buy bent wbody frame member

I was the unfortunate recipient of a rock in the highway. Unfortunately I could not swerve to miss it. The rock bent the front member of the engine subframe. It dented the very front member below the bumper, then scratched the tranny pan and bent the rear member of that subframe.

It looks like the rear member may be replacable. However, I don't know what it's called or where I might buy it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

2006 Buick Lucerne, 3.8L motor.

Damn, that must have been one huge rock! Good Luck finding the information that you need.

I'd go with crossmember or subframe.

Also, I think the term you were looking for is boulder, not rock.

Thanks guys. Yeah it was fairly discouraging. After I hit it I thought for sure my car was totalled. Was delighted to see no cosmetic damage from atop. Then I went to change my oil

The car tracks EVER so slightly to the right now. It's barely noticeable but I'm certain it is tracking right. I want to replace the member before I get it realigned.

It also took a small crack in my windshield and doubled it in size when the boulder hit the frame.

Makes me very nervous to take my corvette out. That rock *ahem* boulder, would have destroyed the vette.

I have one, only problem it is attached to my 03 GP. I am selling the whole car for $3,500.
Seriously though, that is one heck of a whack. One question, how did you get your car to levitate in the picture ?

haha... yeah I noticed it looked like it was levitating when I finally checked out the picture. It's simply upside down and grownd is overexposed. I live closer to the sun here... Arizona lol
