all those cars were cool in their time but they are in the electronic age and will quickly become a big PITA, they are dated like a computer from 1995.
put it in something full analog like a nice car from the 60s (not a rust bucket project car from the 60s).

lot of requirements and work just to use an LS1. Good motors but getting long in the tooth
