Because I'm very confident that the demon will easily run 9.6's on the track conditions of the Infamous ranger rental MIR runs, everybody is a half second faster at MIR... demon might go 9.20's at MIR on a ranger rental.

Are you just one of those guys who looks at times on the internet and has never stepped foot on a track , or have you actually raced on a track?
Because I'm very confident that the demon will easily run 9.6's on the track conditions of the Infamous ranger rental MIR runs, everybody is a half second faster at MIR... demon might go 9.20's at MIR on a ranger rental.

C6 Z record as well, remember those "How to run 10''s in a stock Z06" videos that were trying to be sold to us.
If you want to make record runs that is the place to do it, especially at a ranger track rental, he would do all his homework with temps, Da's and of course VHT the track to better than NHRA standards.
Runs still count, but everyone knows they are a half second faster there in anything they drive, especially on a ranger rental, he left no stone unturned

I for one don't doubt that the Demon can run a 9.6, but the 9.6 that it did run was in "Ranger rental" conditions. That run was in -1200DA air with a 1.3 60' time which means there was some good prep.

Regardless, you have just stated that you did a ranger rental at MIR, you also did one at union grove in the winter which I thought was nuts, that track is horrendous in season, prep is always garbage (which is why the rental was so cheap) .... more power to you
.You can't deny that even novice drivers are faster on those rentals.
Most people average .5 seconds faster on that track, it's just fact.
A .5 second difference is huge on a 1/4 drag strip IMO, especially when you are trying to go from 11's-10's, 10's-9's, 9's-8's etc in those cases(and I think allot of people will agree with me that .1 is all the difference in the world.
How many people have gone home from the strip pissed because they went 11.0 instead of 10.9 etc, I know I've gone home many times pissed being so close .
