Default Not sure where Genetic Mixing Fits

Just watched a "Smoking Tire" where Matt is awed by a Mitsubishi Conquest (beautifully) rebuilt with an LS. My son bought a Nissan 240SX with an LS (a blast to be a passenger in), I've seen a few Miatas with LS's (sounds like a handful)...should these be accepted in the Vette community (doubt it)? Even DeTomaso and a few others dropped American eights into Italians designs.....where do these things fit?

(small aside, we have three parrots as pets and when breeds of Macaws are cross bred, many owners are up in arms)

Ahh, auto philosophy......(sorry if this is the wrong place)
