Default Bought a, new to me, 2011 CTS-V

Hey guys,

I bought a 2011 CTS_V sedan a couple of weeks ago. I really think these cars will be a future classic. I wanted a fast, fun family sedan and I think the CTS-V fits the bill. I bought a model with the Recaro seats, Ultraview sunroof, alcantra wheel and shifter, etc. It came pretty loaded. I found this car with only 3700 miles on it. I am amazed at how well it was taken care of. So far it has been a great car that the kids love being in. The only mod it has is a Airaid intake, and I just had Suntek clear film put on the front of the car and rockers.

3,700 miles??? Sad that the previous owner didn't enjoy it. Hope you exercise it a lot more. Those seals and what not hate to sit.

Thanks guys! The car is being used more. I have been driving it every week and loving every minute of it. It's a great car that I plan on keeping minty.

I would have loved to buy a wagon. It is crazy how much they are selling for now. They are awesome looking, and no one expects them to haul tail, like they do. Too bad you don't have that one still.

My wife bought a 2102 new. Daily driver Has 80,000 on it now. No issues so far. It will use tires at a good rate. We are now running Brigestone Pole positions a d really like them.

We took a long road trip a few months back, and I did the spare tire thing. Bought the certain wheel and tire that will clear the brakes and fits in the spare trie well. We only take it on long trips.

Congrats! I had an 09' V-Sedan in the same color. I totally enjoyed that car and will probably buy another in a couple of years! I loved taking mine to the track; I had mine in the mid 10's when I sold it and it was still tame enough to use as a daily commuter!

Enjoy your new ride!

Nice ride! I've had two V's, a coupe and a sedan and loved them both. Run over to
CTSvowners.com and nose around and get the mod bug. It doesn't take much to turn these cars into monsters. I just traded my sedan in on a '18 Z06 and i honestly miss the V.

Thanks guys! It is a great car for the money. I love the look of the V2 model. The V3 has angles I'm not so in love with. I like the technology it has, but it lost that muscular look the V2 had. I hope to have this one for awhile. I won't be modding it too much for awhile. I am in the process of supercharging the Corvette.

I'm pretty sure it will keep up with my modded C5 without a problem. This is a 11 second 1/4 mile car with a set of drag radials. Amazing car foe the money.

I've got a V2 Black Raven A6 coupe. The V3 appearance wise, just doesn't do it for me.

The 1 time I ran my '11 wagon, as stock as stock could be (Including a full tank of gas and a baby seat in the back) it went 12.332@115 with a 1.85 60' on Continental DW street tires and an absolute crap DA.

No problem at all getting them to dip into the 11s on a decent day with some stickies.
