I like your build,thanks for posting the video.
Soft spot in my heart for Ramblers and AMC's.
My first auto service job was at a AMC/Jeep
dealer in the 70's.

That engine sounds great!

I had a HS friend - he had a '64 (I think) Rambler American. Blue; I assume a 4 banger (no power at all). We used to double date. I have some fond memories of the back seat of that car.

My sister had 1 back in the 70's. Had a 287, with a 3 on the tree if I remember correctly. My brother would pound the **** out of it, just as he did his 66 Bel air. I was so influential, I now pound the **** out of my 2015 Z06. Love it.

Does anyone remember that the Rambler Rebel in 1958 offered a Packard 374 V-8?

Nice! The 287 is just a small bore 327. They take a beating pretty good! haha
