Drove a Mustang GT
I recently test drove a 2017 Mustang GT. It was a manual transmission car with 3.55 rear end ratio and 20 inch wheels.
There's a lot there to like. The 5.0 runs really well. I liked the clutch and shifter, the dash, the Sync display, and the seats. The ride was firm without being too harsh. It was ruby red and in my opinion a very good-looking car.
The cheap plastic used on a lot of the interior surfaces was a definite let-down.

I drove one also. I felt like I was sitting on top of the car instead of inside of it. I thought the shifter was pretty bad compared to MGW in the Vette and sloppy. The ride was too soft for me and it felt heavy on turns. I considered going back to mustangs after a long time of Corvette ownership and did not jump ship!

I have yet to drive one but may in the future. I have heard very good things about them. Mustangs have come a long way, I still miss my Saleen.

It's a great car, but a terrible Mustang. The switch to the IRS was a real mistake IMO. Makes the car feel less like a muscle car and a has a lot less character. I'd only consider the GT350 in the new Mustang.

Went from a 98 vert to this 17 got premium. Wow what a car, handles just as good as the vette did, ride is great, power is wow. Don’t know about the comment on the irs but the car handles the canyon roads in the black hills as good if not better than the vette did. I’m not bashing he vette because I still love the vette, but for now, this is a treat. Drove the gt350 and loved it but wanted something a little less not more. Interior could use a little more attention but hands down more comfortable than the c5 was. For 43000 dollars compared to a vette, it’s worth every penny. Resale won’t be as good as a vette but they all loose value. Just my opinion tho. Thanks all

OP wait for the 2018 GT's to hit the lot this month.

Lets compare apples to apples on the last statement. How much does a new corvette cost? How much does the new gt350 cost. I rest my case

The gt350 is awesome...sounds bad @ss! The 2018 mustang gt I think is putting out 460 hp..
I'm a corvette GM guy yet the mustang gt is fantastic too.
I think the premiere version is an extra 6500 dollars over a base gt and a hell of a performance car...
I'd still buy a corvette over a mustang gt or gt350 but that's my personal choice...
Camaro ss 1LE or ZL1 are awesome choices too...

I don't see it.. I roll raced one in my headers, intake only (no tune) FRC Vette and we were pretty much dead even. Drivers race for sure.... but I could have bought my C5 almost 4 times over for what he paid for his GT350. Also have seen this GT350 run down by a full bolt on 2011 5.0 auto that the guy picked up for $18k.. GT350 is nice, but not $60k nice IMO.

So you compare a used car vs a brand new one and then compare it yet again with modifications vs stock
You don't have to like the Mustang GT or the GT350 but your comments make absolutely zero sense.
Roll racing and drag racing ain't my bag.
