What if I preferred something more refined ?

I have a 400 hp Mercedes coup, great car, not as much fun as the C-7. Mentioned earlier, the base has a smoother ride with less tire noise. Put sound reducing carpet behind the seats, you have that sports car that drives like a Cadilac until you push it. Put a z-51 rear sway bar for better handling at a great price. It'll never keep up with the GS at the track, but for around town, a nice combination.

So I've had my Grand sport for a while now and to be honest, as much as I love it, at the age of 50 I'm thinking I may prefer something in a sport car thats still powerful, refined and less raw...you know something quieter, so I can hear myself think while driving 80mph... Anything available in the under 100K Msrp category that would be a better suit ? tough niche market I think.... what do you all say ?

Drifting
After considering what GM was offering besides major depreciation ,
a "deal" came up that I just couldn't resist.
I figured if I was going to go hybrid, I was going to get a bitchin one.
More money then you probably want to spend, but check out the NSX.

AMG C63 or E63.
Very comfortable. Fairly good handling. And for the stoplight dragstrips, it will leave almost anything in it's dust (including all C6's and many C7's). If you need to haul stuff with you, the E63 wagon has all of that, and a spacious cargo area in back.
If new isn't in your budget, certified pre-owned are a great option.

I can't get passed the looks of the ATS-V... the front looks real nice, as is the interior... then there is the rear end... they must have been burnt out while designing this car, because the rear end and it's lines are awkward, in my humble opinion.... I do like the CTS-V but it is a larger car, no ? starts right around 100K and goes up if I recall... not to mention its a sedan.... so lets cross those out....
Now, there is Mercedes Benz..... and I do have a future son in law working at a very respectable Mercedes dealership. He promises the absolute best deal possible... so its a possibility... but it has no shifter on the floor ? WTF ? and I remember test driving an E350 a few years back... I kept hitting cruise control instead of the turn signal... that was a turn off.... C63 is in the back of my mind.... what about the ZL-1 Camaro with the 10spd ? would anybody say its a tweener ? caught between the GS and Z06 ?

any of the 1993 to 2000 Bentley 2 door Continentals- older yes but a total money bargain.
Comfort, speed, no noise and not many around. Buy one for $35 k, have it mechanically gone through (if it did not come with full service history), spend maybe $5-10k and have an awesome car that can even be a great daily driver.
