Consumers Reports shocked me
They published an article concerning 5 disappearing cars we will miss in 2018:
2017 CHEVROLET SS
What we liked about it. We described this nondescript sedan built in Australia as a stealth Corvette. It was a serious performance car cloaked in an innocuous exterior and boasted the spacious, comfortable cabin of a conventional large sedan. On the track, the SS could keep up with or surpass many sports cars and super-sedans thanks to its ferocious speed, graceful handling, and great brakes. Performance aside, the SS was also an executive express par excellence. It was easy to get in and out of (not always the case with a performance car) and had a cabin that featured high-quality materials and a roomy rear seat.

Nothing to miss about this sedan. So what.. it had HP, handling and room for the family. Its just a normal plain Jane looking sedan. Nothing about this sedan grabs your attention like in Holy crap check out that ride. Hell Herbie would get my attention before the SS ever would.
I'm not surprised it's going away.
