Fox Fever ?
I’m watching B J , what’s up with these mustangs ? I think they’re over valued. You can’t drive em , the low miles seems to be the value . Do they think they're going to appreciate ? I don’t think so . I rather have a c5 !

Two years I sold my 88GT that was restomodded with everything under the sun for 20k, it's resold twice since with the most recent sale being 30k. They're definitely going up in value whether anyone likes it or not.

It's probably because the Fox is actually a really good platform that wasn't appreciated in it's time largely because of the same reasons as the Mustang II, except people seemed to forget how much better the Fox was over the aforementioned Mustang II.
Also ^^^^^ in comparison to the later SN-95 that followed the Fox is a much lighter platform that deals well in the resto-mod community. A Fox with any sort of modern retro-modded drive train is not something to take lightly...

I love both mine.

I owned two 5spd Fox GTs...a 1989 and a 1992. Fun cars for sure, but wouldn't buy another, even for nostalgia's sake. Getting way over-priced for a hugely mass-produced car as well.

My first car was a 1982 Mercury Capri. It had the 4.2L V8 with an automatic and it was awesome. I was 15 when I bought it and I loved that car. Anyways, I always wanted another one so I picked up a 1982 Mercury Capri RS 5.0 T-Top with a 5sp and some performance goodies. It is a blast to drive and it really brings me back to the old days. Here are some pics.

I have a C5, but couldn't pass up the lil Fox I bought around Thanksgiving. A black 87 GT with 64k on the odometer, sold by the original owners niece. I found the price pretty reasonable considering the interior is damn near perfect and it has all the lil basic go fast stuff already on it. $5200 If my F'n phone would be recognized by may laptop I would have a few pics.
I love driving it.
