Nobody who can afford the S63 cross shops with a Caddy. Despite what they'd like to believe, it just doesn't happen.

Sorry I'm totally dyslexic. People who buy Mercedes may not think of Cadillac now but if they continue to improve some buyers might take a second look.

That's been the line for 15 years, still hasn't happened.

Performance can't be ignored but only time will tell.

I can assure you that a person looking for a mid size, sledgehammer 4 door sedan is going to be cross shopping the E63, RS7, M5 and CTS-V...... All are extremely capable cars.

I agree that nobody is likely to cross shop an S63 with a CTS-V but the OP accidentally typed an "S" instead of an "E" in his original post.

ctsv sticker here in vancouver bc is 115, and the e63s is 144 (before tax), im sure people do cross shop them but the price gap is to big to compare the two IMO..id take the e63s because of the interior and it is AWD but RWD if you want it to be.

c63s and a cts-v is more price comparable. that would be a tougher call for me

im somewhat in this boat right now. looking at the cts v or m5. the m5 being awd now and power bumped up to 600hp has me intrigued. but then I found the ats v, which is considerably cheaper and with a flash makes mid 500whp as well. so I may save some money and just go that route.
