Default A Real Dilemma

I currently have a 2017 Sierra Denali 6.2L with 2000 miles and a 2017 Z07 with 2000 miles. I would prefer to keep the Z06 but I am not sure if I should put a whipple on the truck or trade it on a Hellcat Charger....

The reason this has come up is because I have been driving a new TrackHawk and it's actually very cool. I'm not considering a $95k Jeep though....

I own the Denali and have the title, paid about 55k with tax and I think it's probably worth 48 on trade. A used 2017 Hellcat is 60k and a new 18 is 67 or so. The GM 6.2L engine is only good to 550-600 hp before the pistons become an issue but the Hellcat can be modded to 1000 pretty easily. Looking to stay with 4 doors, also 17 or 18 only.

So about $20k to go from the truck to HC.....

Any opinions?

If you don't need a truck and got the $$$, a HC charger is a no-brainer IMHO.

If you definitely have zero need for a pickup then I couldn't agree more with this statement. But.... factoring in that you have the Z06 for a fun/performance car, why not keep the truck? All of us have the need to haul something from time to time. The drivetrain in the Denali is great (I have a 2015 Yukon Denali with the 6.2L/8speed) as it's no slouch for daily duty. With a Whipple it would be a downright blast as you would surprise the $hit out of people. Bottom line, you know what your needs/wants are....... do what is going to make you happy!!!

I drove the truck last night (only has 1100 miles, lol) and I do really like it so I decided to keep it and the Z06 and add a Hellcat later after I see what 2019 has in store for them.

Just reading where GM trucks for 2019 will be carbon fiber beds and 360 pounds less weight but will carry the start/ stop. Which I fear will be wearing starters plus hard on the engine too. Out in daily traffic??? too stupid of an idea. Not sure it can be over ridden either ! Like the light weight but no start stop for me I draw the line on that ****. So 2018 is a last year to buy a gas engine. If it has to have start stop I'm not buying!

I bought a 4 door Audi RS3 sedan which stock snacks on AMG 45, Cayman 718 FORD RS and most all smaller cars and a turbo with 19.8 pounds of boost a new car for 18 to the US. 5 cly 2.5
Stock is 400 but They add a down pipe and push 480 hp and more car is 4 wheel drive and is smaller very quick and dead quiet inside. Unless you open exhaust has exhaust like Corvette
which open and closes and has has front carbon brakes, mag ride all with fine leather 14 BO and & speakers and 700 watt amp the strong dollar gets this 100k car elsewhere for 65-70 equipt here. Very sweet! Run 150 174 top end limit all day real cheek coolers too!
