Dodge Demon vs Macca 720S from a roll....

That thing is garbage. It's meant to go fast in a straight line. Now I've seen a video of a 720 and a 570 McLaren whooping on it. Not even close. Bus lengths.

It's got one job to do...go fast in a straight line. All I've seen are videos to the contrary. Videos of it not only losing but getting absolutely demolished in straight line races. It's a boat. I stand by my original comment.

So high 9s and low 10s stock isn't fast I guess

Stock ones? How much do those cost? I'm not a huge demon fan and wouldn't buy one, just think its ridiculous to call it garbage cause it loses a couple roll races. It's a Dodge on corevetteforum so I guess I should have known tho.

I dont like the fact that Chrysler touted it as the Worlds Fastest Production Car yet we have stock cars proving that to be false.
For the record I like that Power Chiller thingy. I heard of a Demon running 3 passes in a row within 0.05 of each other. Try that in a Corvette lol...

Its still a horse **** statement ....you would crap your pants doing 1 g in your car The demon will do that and pull the front wheels and run low 10s all day long...and can do 203 stock....
Name one car that can do that stock and as it is presented from the factory....that you can actually purchase.....what a fantastic boat..
You sound like a jealous sandy vagina...

By the way, the new trendy internet thing seems to be if someone's opinion differs from yours you immediately call them out by saying "you must be jealous". Has it ever occurred to you that there are some people out there who just don't like the Demon? I would never buy one. I don't like heavy cars and I'm disappointed with how cars seem to be getting heavier and heavier these days. The Demon is pushing, what? 4500 lbs.

Plenty of vids of these cars running 9’s. A lot of guys bought them for bragging rights though and they’ll never go to the track. One guy posted on you tube today of a demon running 9.7’s this past weekend in Indiana completely stock. I asked him to post a link but no reply yet. That 720 SHOULD be spanking the demon all things considered but I guess we won’t really know how they compare until they line them up on an actual track. Fat, heavy...and setting the bar....gotta love this modern HP war. Anyone who thinks a demon won’t pull on the street will be very disappointed. The factory rubber is ridiculously sticky even on cool roads. My regular Hellcat would destroy the tires on a 40mph roll. My demon tires amazingly would stick and make passengers sick to their stomach. Demon just pulls...and pulls....and pulls. Awesome machine.

I would expect the Demon to lose in any situation other than an nhra style drag race. From a stop, with a burnout before the run. It' very purpose built, and has a valid claim as the fastest production car because nobody else got nhra verification.
it's a very specialized car. Your argument is like complaining that a nice pizza cutting wheel doesn' cut steak as well as a 300 dollar carving knife. Or like complaining how the McLaren can' fit your wife and kid as well as a range rover.
We like in a day of extreme specialization (and cost). A car that is a good all aroumd car will get blasted in the media for not being as specialized as others. Challenger is a great example, it' fast with a 392, roomy, handles well, rides nice, makes great noises, and does burnouts well. It' way more practical than a mustang or camaro, and doesn't try to be them. But in the media all you hear about is how heavy and big it is. THAT'S THE IDEA. It might not beat a moats around an autocross course, but you can show up and compete in every way, then rise home with your family in comfort.
Cars do NOT have to be the pinnacle of something to be great. In fact, most of the "greats" we'e not the pinnacle of anything, and that is part of what made them great.

And all I've seen are videos of it getting its fat *** handed to it on the street. It's still garbage. You don't like my statement? Tough ****.

I stand by my statement too....you have never seen 1g in a twisty driving your moms car and you would chicken out and **** your pants before that fat pig the Demon let go on any road. Don't like it...tough.
