Ford Explorer Sport Trac Adrenalin

I had a 2007 Sport Trac but not the Adrenalin. It had its share of electronics gremlins. The instrument cluster had to be replaced under warranty. The small bed was not very useful. It was to short or not enough room for any practical load. I would go with a full size pick up.

My dad has had 3 sport tracks, his current is a v8 adrenaline. He LOVES them. It's pretty quick, a nice size, and pretty nice inside. The bed is big enough for most loads. It's not great on gas, but it's not bad - better than his eco boost explorer sport. The only downside is the v8 ones are rare, and the transmissions eat torque converters about every 100k miles. Oh and uhaul won't rent you a trailer.
I almost bought one but ended up in a v8 Colorado. Its a bit smaller but more robust, with more performance potential of you wanted it. It's also not as nice inside, but cheaper to buy. I like it.

The torque converters in those sport tracs tend to start slipping around 70k. Usually they need replaced around 10k. Oh and people think the trans fluid is a lifetime fluid. They don't have an easy way to drain and fill the trans fluid.
