GT-R or M4
Which car would you rather have in the garage and not as a daily driver. I am between these two cars. Not sure which one I want to see next to the Z06.

For a fun car I'd go GT-R

the M4 seems similar to the Corvette, Front engine, RWD, etc. In alot of ways the M4 is probably most like a camaro/mustang but with quite a bit more refinement.
The GT-R is big, heavy, extremely capable. It's all function and no form. The interior is dated, the transmission clunky and less refined that others, the exterior styling is very purposeful and lacking elegance.
What about a Cayman, alfa 4c, lotus evora? Smaller, 2 seater engine where it belongs. Momentum cars instead of straight line bruisers

I am also considering a 997 C4S. The GT-R I am considering would be an 09 GTR which I found a local one and its super clean but has lower hp than the new ones and the worst interior of all the generations. I have a huge passion for Japanese sports cars but I am torn with wanting some refinement at my age since I am almost 40 years old. I owned an F80 a little over a year ago and honestly loved it and the motor has a lot of potential as well.

The GT-R in general is fantastic, and having something with AWD would be a nice contrast to the Z06. Keep in mind that even though a 2009 GT-R has less horsepower than the later years, the engine is essentially the same. Once you get to a point, power of equally modded cars is essentially the same for any year. You might have to look into whether or not any bell housing or transmission issues have been resolved in the earlier years.
