Chevy truck
I buy and sell at a small scale and restore 58/72 era Chevy and GMC trucks .. I can give an honest estimate of value ,depending on location and a few photos . I have brought in dozens of vehicles from across the U.S.
and might even make her a fair offer and take care of all shipping ..
This is no joke and several Forum members can vouch for me . I have sold a couple to members also a couple of Corvettes ..DWIGHT LOVEJOY 603/533/6436

I don’t know if it is the holidays or not but she is on the fence right now. I think she was surprised there is an interest for this truck and not sure she is ready to let it go. I told her to get back with me when she is ready and I will post up on the truck site to get a good gauge of what she has. These are pictures of small pictures from a collage. These were taken about 3 years ago. I think she said her dad bought the truck in the 70’s or possibly early 80. Sorry for the quality but at least you truck guys have an idea.

Melting Slicks
I bought my 1965 C10 short bed fleetside big window custom cab when I was 17, 41 now and still have it.
Around 2001 I went to Chevytalk and went in the 1960-1966 Chevy/GMC truck forums, still a member there and also the 67-72 truck site.
At the time in 2001 Chevytalk had a lot more members and posts/threads on 60-66 trucks, then it seems the 67-72 site got lots more members.
By the way my truck is baby blue and white 2 tone, also with black primer, rough paint and body, pretty much a beater.
For some reason when I drive it, people always ask about it, for some reason younger women seem to always want to know what it is, and people always ask if I want to sell it.
It was a factory V8 283 with powerhglide, but 327 with wild cam headers Holley double pumper TH350 trans when I bought it, 2003 I put in a 454 and rebuilt TH00 out of a 1974 Chevy truck that I bought for the engine and transmission, turns out some decoding the engine is a 1968 pickup version of the 396.
Next it's going LS or a 5.3 with the fuel injection and overdrive.
