So I planned on just buying a well sorted turbo rust free NA, but the few available are junk so far. So then I figured well maybe look into a used Fiat 124 or S2000, but I don't think I can bring myself to spend $15kish or more on those (Unless it is a well sorted blown or turbo S2K). Not saying not worth it, but I'm cheap & something really has to get me excited to spend $. Now I'm also looking at sub $10k C5 Vettes (Not an FRC as I want the top off)

I was originally looking for 60s-early 70s muscle car (67 Chevelle being perfect) for upwards of $20kish, but again, nothing has come along that I like enough to open my wallet. Not saying nothing I like at all, just nothing I wanted enough to spend my money on. So I put that shopping on hold. Seems to always get put on hold. I'll be 75 & on my death bed & still never had one.

Anyway, am I missing some fun cars I should be looking at? No FWD. Has to offer some fun factor I cannot get with the Hellcat. Really miss having a vert/targa/ttop car. Don't bother suggesting a C6, I've had 2 of them already. Mustangs? I've had5. Although, I would not mind another 96-98 Cobra Vert. They can't turn for ****, though so I'd wanna waste too much $ on suspension mods.
You know what they say...All car guys should own a 911 at some point in time in their life, maybe its you'r time.

You're all over the place. What's the budget, $10k, $15k, or $20k?

I'd only spend $20k if it's something really awesome that got me very excited.

I'd only spend $20k if it's something really awesome that got me very excited almost as much as the Chevelle.

Not all over the place, though. I don't need to spend $20k to get a nice turbo NA Miata. Not even $10k. Different cars cost different money

Go on. Unless you are talking about non-turbo Porsche then I'll pass.

You do seem to be all over the place. For what your looking for, chevelle in good shape think the dollars need to be up’d. Jmo. Seems like you need to narrow down the style your looking for. Good luck in your search

I've seen some the turbo 996s sell in the low 30s

I really want a vert/ttop/targa car that can turn. So I guess it's another Miata unless I find a C5 deal, huh?

Drop an LS 3 in a Miata. I bought a 94 NA to do something like that but it is too nice so I just drive it stock.

I would love to, but not if I'm paying for it. Looks like the properly done LS swap cars are super expensive so hard pass. May as well as buy another C6 at that point.

Yup. Still looking for a nice rust free turbo NA Miata. I have not driven a S2000 since they were new so gonna try to test drive a couple local ones tomorrow if they are still available. Gonna try to drive a Fiat 124 & ND Miata as well.
