Hey guys I have a 385 short block ready for heads to be bolted on. Motor consists of 4340 rotating assembly. 6 in rods, je/srp 11:1 flat tops(with 64cc head) cam is a custom grind solid roller from Cam Motion and specs are as follows
613/568
246/252 @ 50
110 ls
23 valve lash
35-6500 rpm range.
Bottom end is studded.

Heads are eBay El cheapos
Aluminum 220cc runners with 64cc Chambers.
Flow #s seem a little "advertised" but here they are.

As I said they seem a little high but thats just my opinion. Motor will be going in a Full interior/exterior 1985 Cutlass. My guess on weight would be around 3500 give or take. Transmission is a pretty stout th350 with 3500 stall converter with 411s out back. Car will be mainly driven on the weekends and an occasional trip to the track.

Why skimp on one of the most important parts for a go fast motor, forget eBay(you get what you pay for) save your money and get a good set of heads, I prefer AFR

Im running 230cc Darts (after porting) on a solid roller 383, love it.
If you have plaenty of gear youll be fine. Makes adequate tq for most driving (dont want a burnout machine) pulls super hard upstairs
Ported single plane, 850 AED 4.11 26 in tire 6 spd
