Default Waiting For The C8 | Meanwhile in Geneva...

This is the best period to live. New Corvette coming, new ME Corvette coming, revolution on its way.
I posted quite awhile ago that this segment is going to be pretty crowded and most of them are afraid of the C8.
This is not one them

I would still rather have an original Miura.

Too much going on design wise. I much prefer the clean aerodynamics employed by Ferarri which in ten or twenty years will still look great whereas the Lambos will look like cartoon characters. My favorite Lambo was the Diablo.

If I had deep pockets, a F-488 would be my choice.

I'd call that dead sexy. It looks like you could cut yourself trying to wash it.

If everyone liked the same style, all cars would look the same. Thanks to the manufacturers for some variety!

If I ever had F-U money, I'd buy an Aventador.

If I ever had F-U and U and U and U money, it'd be a Koenigseggg.

Back in the real world, the C8 had better be one amazing car for me to even consider getting rid of my C7 for one.

Although well beyond my means, I saved a 2012 White Aventador LP 700-4 for $248k on Car Gurus, just to feel good. What a gorgeous work of art it is.

One of the best cars I saw at last year's Woodward Dream Cruise was a slightly dirty, blue Aventador. I liked the fact that it had obviously spent some time being driven and enjoyed, rather than spending all its time sealed in a hermetic bubble.

That Pininfarina looks like an Italian twist on a McLaren.

While driving my SO C7 today, I crossed paths with an NSX painted in almost dead-ringer to SO shade of orange. It looked really good. When I was returning on the same route, I saw it parked in front of the Acura dealership, so obviously that was a test drive.

When I get a chance I'm going to take a closer look.
