Gorgeous car, I know I've seen you over on the SS forum though I have to admit I largely lurked over there. I just sold my 2017 Slipstream Blue SS to pick up a Grand Cherokee SRT, but can't say enough about what a great car the SS is, enjoy!

I had a G8 GT prior to going the Corvette route. Loved that G8/Holden and how well it was built. I go to Australia at least once a year and it’s so cool how they dominate the streets down there. BTW - the Holden line still exists but they are no longer being built in Australia. I think they moved production to Korea or something like that. Not sure if they are still producing the Commodore either. Very sad decision by Holden / GM

Enjoy your car OP. It is a beast!

Thanks. I saw your thread on the GCSRT, sweet rig. I went to buy a first gen GCSRT but the dealer and I couldn't come to an agreement, and I went and bought a TBSS. Like you, I really liked it, even though mating that dreadful 4L70E transmission to an LS2 is criminal.

Thanks @jdk541

God that transmission was terrible, I recall one of the big things on the TBSS forum was people actually changing out the whole unit to a 5 speed. Had they put an actual transmission in that car it would've been absolutely perfect, I still really enjoyed it, just hated watching it sit at like 2700 RPM cruising on the highway

Those first gen SRT GCs were/are lightning fast, just an awesome looking vehicle as well, they nailed the wheels/stance on those.

Beautiful 2014, OP!

I love my 2014 SS. Honestly, of all the cars I've owned, it's my favorite. Such a blast to drive.
