Chadwicks Color Correction on my CTS coupe
I bought this 2012 Opulent Blue CTS coupe about a year ago. It had a little over 16,000 miles on it. The car was in great mechanical shape but the paint was in pretty rough condition. The previous owner obviously wasn't concerned about it. It was covered with scratches and swirls. I normaly would pass on a car like this but i did get it for a good price. I figured i could work on the paint condition.
I recently retired so i figured it was time to address the problem. I love cars and have always enjoyed keeping mine clean. I've been using Chadwicks Triple Play for a few years now so i decided to try his color correction system. After about 22 hours over three days, i completed the job and i must say i'm very pleased with the results.
The first pic is a before shot of a section on the hood showing the kind of swirls i was dealing with. The next pic is after the correction of the same section.
Here are some after pics. This color is one of those that change depending on the light.

Looks fantastic! I am always amazed what a good buffer and plenty of elbow grease can do. I bought a Flex and did a panel of my 2002 F250. HUGE mistake, it looked so good had to finish the truck and it was a crew cab long bed.
Love that shade of blue.

thanks guys
hey hawkgfr, speaking about retirement, i highly recommend it. i was blessed to be able to retire at 59 1/2.
moved from the husle and bustle of the Houston area to the laid back easy pace of La Follette Tn.
now i have time to do all the stuff i enjoy like this past friday. my wife and i went and picked up my oldest grand son from school, took him to DQ for some ice cream, then
we went to my house where his mom (my daughter) and his dad brought pizza for supper. like i always say. life is short, eat dessert first.
hey snowwolfe, i feel your pain cleaning on an f250 long bed. i had an f350 crew cab dually i used to polish on. the folks who bought it were amazed at how well it looked. they weren't really in the market for a dually but after driving it an seeing the condition of it, we went to the bank and did the transaction.
i said all if that to say i think it does pay of in the long run if we do the proper up keep on these money pits
again thanks for the compliments
