Notice how tastefully done the lack of wheel gap is, it can’t be a corvette!

Not half as much camouflage as what we have seen on the c8 mules..

that said...I daily my corvettes and use them as cars are meant to be used.

i highly doubt many will dare daily a mclaren even as womderful sports car as it is.

I have to admit the Mclaren looks Fantastic. But sure it’ll cost way more than C8

It is surprisingly close. I like how McClaren tapered the back fenders down, so the butt isn't as big.

To me, the C8 will look better. The proportions look odd to me on that Mclaren. Even if the price was the same...

I love the Mclarens, but they are not practical and too expensive.

I agree... looks close... and it does look good.

I do like Mclarens, but as others have pointed out, they're much more expensive. That said, I'm much more likely to own a C8 than a Mclaren... so that makes the C8 all the more appealing to me.

Is this GT the replacement for the 570? If McLaren could produce a car in the $120K range, they could deal the 911 a world of hurt. The 992 isn't exactly well received in Porsche circles.

They do look similar. Don't know which one will look prettier. Sorta like the McLaren hatch though, but really, it seems like a saw off. So that means, really, kudos to the General for their styling department.

If money is no object the MGT wins, if daily livability and operating costs are, the C8 wins.

Not a replacement, but a separate product line. So now it's like 720 / 600 / 570 / GT.

The GT is supposed to be more comfy and cruiser than even the 570 GT.

Imho, the McLaren is easily the better looking car. Tadge is a moron. Unfortunately, even if it is a budget McLaren, that means a price tag of $150k+.

How is Tadge a moron for delivering what appears to be one heck of a C8 for hypothetically half the price?

So it can fit golf clubs or skis and boots? So there are others that have the golf club criteria?

I can see someone driving their McLaren to the golf course but cannot see someone driving it to the ski slopes.

Mclaren, has done incredible job and is making Ferrari and others raise the bar when it comes to performance. I had the pleasure to drive a 570S for a little bit and it truly was a remarkable sports car. Personally the iconic name alone makes it stand out It's a very small company and over time the quality will improve since they don't have the advantage of a large auto manufacturer to share tech and parts.

I am happy GM pulled the trigger on the new ME, I believe we will see them do very well in professional racing and many on the fence will change their minds after they drive one.

I was at the golf course yesterday in my SUV as usual. Clubs in the back. Popped the rear door which gave me a place to sit/lean against to put on my shoes and easily take out the clubs. Don't really understand the need to drive anything but this (or a truck, van, whatever else you have)

The McLaren is a piece of junk. Electrical problems, bad build quality. Not a good car.
