I sold the C7 a while back and picked up a Lexus RC 350. The car ended up being a little dull (but very nice) so I picked up a new 2019 Camaro Zl1. The car is an absolute monster. I miss the C7 but I drove it for five years and over 70,000 miles. The Zl1 will be my daily driver as well. I will still hang around as I enjoy Corvettes and these are interesting times for sure.

Because I have been a member here for many years and drove a C7 for 70,000 miles. Move along if you feel your time has been wasted. My apologies. I like seeing what other C7 owners end up with when they move on from their C7s.

When I purchased a couple months ago, I was torn between the Vette and an identical Riverside Blue ZL1 (so I could bring the family along). Awesome car and color!

If it makes you happy, that is all that counts, but would never downgrade to a Camaro from a Vette myself. And this is with me owning a 2010 Camaro.

Congratulations! I bought a c6 Z06 from Roger Dean. Good people. I am envious of the Recaro Seats. Dunno why Corvette seats go to cheapest no-name bidder. too many gripe threads for corvette to claim their in-house is the best seat solution.

They are just different cars. The Zl1 is faster than my C7 was and I keep my cars stock. I consider it more of a lateral purchase as opposed to a downgrade, but it doesn't matter. I didn't buy it to please anybody else but me .

6-Speed manual for me. I hear awesome things about the 10-speed automatic though. I actually miss having a 7th gear though since I became so used to it in the C7.
