I really like the side scoops for the Lotus and the a pillar and c-pillar being black. I hope with Z version we have an option to have all carbon roof a-pillar and c-pillar .

Wow. This is one sick looking ride!!
Funny how the C8 Renders draw some controversy, but one look at this and I find it very appealing.

Ow wow. Just looked this vehicle pricing up and a video already populated with that annoying guy, SHMEE.

At a 4000% price increase over the C8 not sure why we are dong any comparo on this.
Kinda like when not long after we bought our $1.4M home in a SoCal pastoral setting back in 2002 we visited a friend’s $14.0M 7 bedroom mansion on 17 mile drive with every room overlooking the ocean and the 6th & 8th holes at Pebble Beach. With a huge office, a pool table poker room, a 12 seat media room, giant sunken bar living room, 2 kitchens, 2 glass elevators, a 1400 sq ft master bedroom, a 7 car garage, and perhaps best of all the ability to make a Pebble Beach res up to a week in advance at any time, it was pretty much our fantasy.
But our friends sold it because they actually preferred their $5.0M 3600 sq ft 6th floor harbor side condo in the “toasters” overlooking the Hangar Bridge and the Sydney Opera house. Of course that was our other fantasy home. Just a different world of serious stock options and initial public offerings.
All exciting experiences but we didn’t engage in comparisons as that would have been simply pointless and irrelevant and maybe even a little depressing if focused on in that way.
So as someone said, please enjoy but no shoulda coulda woulda on these or other multi million dollar super cars. Come back to earth.
In that appropriate vein on the 50th anniversary, most of our Lunar astronauts climbed into their Corvettes after returning from the moon.

Well, isn't that fun....
130 copies will be produced
250,000 pounds sterling ($310,275 US dollars) secures your place in line (or you could just buy 4 C8's and have change left over)
MSRP is 1.7 MILLION pounds sterling ($2,109,870 in US dollars)
and it's a LOTUS
Lots
Of
Trouble
Usually
Serious
It's a very cool looking car....and even if I had the money, there's about 10 hypercars I'd buy before that.
Hmmm.... a BRITISH electric car....what could go wrong?

Here's what you get for C8 money...not a high bar for the C8 to clear

What would.it actually cost to make that body out of aluminum, plastic, fiberglass.etc? I don't see why it wouldn't be that expensive with those materials. At least it shouldn't be. Tube chassis is not earth shattering expensive to create either. I take it the name on it, the expensive body materials used and interior materials drive up the price. Let's be honest, a guy is 3D printing an Aventador. lol
To make a car look like that shouldn't be an issue for $100k. The rest? Well, there ya go.
