Wow, sorry to hear about your accident.

Glad you are well.

Now comes the wait.

Posted some updated pictures, forgot to post them here. Click here

It's looking as though I'll have the car back the 13th or the 16th, provided all the parts arrive on schedule. Of course the holiday in the middle of this week could toss a wrench into that too. I figure that if I get it back before the 19th I should be happy.

I have to tell you, the communication I've received from the body shoppe has been no less than excellent to this point. I have an account rep that touches base with me constantly, asking lots of questions, answering all of mine, and providing constant updates. He gives me frequent parts lists and continually asks me if any of it has been updated/changed/modded. I had totally forgotten to tell him that my sway bars were updated to Z51 and he called me last Friday to tell me that the sway bar end links were busted, and will be replaced. Oops, hey, I forgot to tell you that the sways were upgraded to Z51, though the end links should be the same. That's why I call, he said. Man, that made my day.

Check this out: I've got the Callaway Honker in the car. It comes with an EPA sticker, which I put next to the factory sticker on the inner fender well, next to the windshield washer tank (if I remember right.)

Can you believe they removed it from the smashed fender well with a heat gun and put it onto transfer paper so they can put it onto the new fender well? They didn't want it to get lost and give me problems with smog inspections.

If the car is returned to me as well I think it will then I'll be thrilled. I have to imagine they are taking as much care of the car as they are of me.

They even asked who aligned my car so they can call and get the specs. Nice.

Jeff, you say EVERYTHING is a simple repair.
