Default PacNW Trackday Roll Call, Coordination and Track rats Thread

I don't know how many PNW track rats we have here on the forum but I started a similar thread on m3post.com (when I had my m3) to much success.

Starting a common thread here so all the local track rats can get together and discuss upcoming events and generally chit-chat about all things local track related..

Here's me at the Ridge earlier this year. I'm still brand new to the Z06, really have done only one trackday with this car. I have three years of total experience in my previous cars though, and my laptimes are around 1:36 at PR and 1:56 at Ridge.

To kick things off, I'm contemplating the next Proformance winter day at Pacific - Nov 30th... anyone else going?

This is actually a good idea, there is national track section. But a region one is more useful for track days.

I was the only Corvette yesterday. Whatup with that??
The rain never really came, neither did many people. That meant first session was an HOUR AND A HALF!!! Lots of sessions throughout the day, it was great!
Instead of a Miata like last time, Igor brought this!

Cool dude, he had a C5Z for years.
Lots learned yesterday and I met a lot of cool people.
Can't make the 8th unless I scrounge up some extra dough. Gotta think about Christmas!

No garage queens here!
Not even this $200k Audi R8 GT

Just saw that Turn 2 will have an event at The Ridge on Sunday 12/7. You have to be in their intermediate or advanced groups to run but the price is great at $175 Looks like the weather will hold out but probably chilly. The Shelton area can be much colder than other parts of the Sound. The KOMO forecast shows the "S-word" for Saturday so keep checking the weather for Shelton

Here's the info: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/paci...y-dec-7-a.html

I'm setting aside vacation days for the Ridge. I'm not prepared to get all the way down there by the 7th but damn, I wanna go. That track looks sweeeeet.
Wish I could make an ORP day, too. That track looks SO awesome. Its got that crazy, banking right-hander.

I'll be bringing the GT40 to the Ridge on Saturday. It may be a little cold for Stickers. I don't put antifreeze in the block, so it will stay warm in the garage.

The winter track days at the Ridge are cool because of running on nice days. It's nice to be able to pick and choose the nice days around here in winter.

I'll help keep the dates posted as they come up.

Ah man.... I would love to hit the Ridge instead, this weekend. I'd have to get a room and stuff. Plus my buddy couldn't go. I'll have to save it for some weekdays. I'd love to see that GT!

We are going to have a new C7 at the Ridge on Saturday! A pretty blue one. We are all interested in seeing how it will do.

Well, you may not find out about the car.....I'm quite sure it's better than I am!

Regardless, I'm looking forward to getting more familiar and exploring a little of its capability! I got quite comfortable at Spring Mountain in my Z.....but it took more than a day to find that rhythm

Default ridge 1/4/13

I may be out there on the ridge spectating with my friend Dave. His car is getting some coolant pipe welding done and I still need to add more miles to my C7 before a track day. I am signed up for Porsche driving skills in Bremerton 1/11/13. Hope to have close to 1500 miles on it before then.
