E@RTC opening Saturday 4/2

With the weather looking this good I'll be there.
Any decision on a lunch location? Not that I'll make it. My time could be limited to a short stop to get some photographs and then leave.
I'm hoping I can stay longer so I don't miss anything. Maybe Bruce will bring something special from his Garage.

Dan and Mary and Carol-Jean and I in our Corvettes will be leaving the east side of the Fred Meyer parking lot at River Road and Meridian in Puyallup between 7:15 and 7:30 Saturday morning if anyone wants to join us in driving up to Redmond. We will go up 167 and 405 to NE 85th and over to Redmond.

Hah, I mentioned we needed cars earlier, joke is on me. Great turnout even for an opener, lost count of vettes, some ended up scattered. Nice white & black C7zs. Viper group across us, a newer ACR. Lots of Lambos today.

It was nice seeing you guys, and having a chat with those that came out, and meeting some of our Southern contingent gotta do this again. Trying to drag my wife there, but we wouldn't be showing haha.

On ERTC's facebook page, they posted a short video of a red C7 peeling out from the event and doing a donut on the street. They said the local authorities have been notified and that owner is no longer welcome.
A while later, at 4:30 p.m. while getting off the 124th Ave. offramp on eastbound 520, there was a red C7 in a one car accident, where it spun up onto the curb and broadsided a telephone pole, hard. I'd expect it to be totaled from the looks of it.
Same driver?

I was there until 11:00 am and heard several cars get on it leaving the parking lot. Most in a controlled manner no doubt, just letting the crowd hear the exhaust note.
I've always left the way I came in, nice and quite. I guess I've watched too many of those amazing crash compilations of guys leaving car events and going sideways onto the curbs.
I hope he/she got out OK and with a memory never to be forgotten.

Thanks for the pictures guys! Glad to see there's a GT350 R in Washington. I may love Corvettes, but the 350 is a cool car. Does anyone plan on going this weekend (4/9)?
Also here's the video of the red Corvette driver:
The guy doesn't even own the car and he spends his time making fake prank videos on YouTube.
