Default New Personal Best Run at Pacific Raceways--Dec. 17

Since taking possession of my 15, tracking the car has turned into a growing addiction. Track days are Ecclesiastes 5:19 moments, "Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God."

Best run of the day and new top speed for me--the one lap video:

Good run! Looks fun.

It's a bit cool out there for my liking with the tires. I haven't driven Pacific in a couple years but it brings back memories of 3a & b...

Nice run! How did the MPSS do in the cold (assuming you're running stock tires)?

I used the winter set of tires, Pilot Sport A/S 3s. At the start of the day, it was about 20 degrees F. I wasn't too surprised that after the first run, the tires did not feel warm to the touch. Later in the day, they did warm up, but never got hot.

The one noticeable change was switching to the Sport 2 setting in Track Mode. My track days up until then were dialed into the Sport 1 setting. Sport 2 allowed (or perceived to make) the car to be more responsive and fun to drive.

Looks like you were having a good time, judging by the smile on your face! That is something I want to do but think warmer weather would be more comfortable.
