This ought to disclose those on this forum who are long time residents of this area....

If you are as old as me (and a couple of others with whom I hang out) I suggest that when w're together next, we sing the Club Theme song in honor of Mr Boreson.

Another one gone I used to watch on TV as a kid. I last saw him up at the Monroe fairgrounds several years ago, still performing.
We lost JP Patches a few years ago and his side kick Gertrude is I believe 85 now. Bob Newman (Gertrude) was a member of the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle when I belonged. Lots of fun to be around with his stories and jokes.

If I remember correctly I was on Stan's show as a kid, part of a Cub Scout group. Couple years latter we visited the Brakeman Bill show. Kind of dating myself now.

I remember this to this day!
“Zero dacus, mucho cracus / hallaballu-za bub / that’s the secret password that we use down at the club/ Zero-dacus, mucho-cracus / hallaballu-za fan / means now you are a member of KING’s TV club with Stan.”

Yes, a loss. And you forgot to mention his dog...Slow Mo. I even took accordion lessons from him as a kid. He had a lot of influence on young minds. The accordion and I never bonded. ** Correction on the dog, my wife informs me that his name was No-Mo.
Don't forget to add Captain Puget to your list.
At the time, I was living in the Tacoma area and my 2nd grade teacher's husband worked for the TV station. The class got to go see the Brakeman Bill show.

Sorry to hear that about Stan... He was a good "Scandihoovian". My wife's family being Norwegian knew him and his family. His style will sorely be missed.
