Am I the only one that's more interested in the "track weapon" C7 that's been seen testing?

That's obviously not what the final product will look like. All manufacturers do this when they test cars. They'll add stuff under the wraps to throw off people of how the car actually looks. Considering how good every other generation of the Corvette looks, I dont expect the mid engine car to look bad either.

Yeah, kinda looks like it.

Ya' know, Walter, by my calculations soon you will have gone longer without a Corvette than the entire time you had the Superman edition.

Just sayin'

I think it's fine if GM makes a mid-engined sports car.....but just don't call it a Corvette and keep making the current platform.

Of course they won't given that is seems every gen they consider not even making the 'Vette.

Probably not, but you might be the youngest

You may need to buy some high speed digital film to get your usual good picturs of that one?

I think that the interesting question is .... how come those C7 can drive in the cold and snow seemingly just fine but the ones you buy have tires that split and crack if it gets chilly outside?

probably. I hope I eventually see one of those turn up at the track. Although I've seen an Infiniti SUV at the track, so I'm hopeful someone will take it to the track.

There's another picture out there where the car can be seen with Michelin Alpine (winter) tires, do that would be my guess.

A new rendering? Don't know if anyone has posted this here. It was on the main board. Think maybe GM could hire someone from HRE for the job Looks pretty good to me if you are going to change things up a bit. Just saying

Article - https://www.corvetteforum.com/articl...c8-renderings/

I rather like that design. What makes me think it may have some credibility is the side air intakes which remind me a lot of the LaFerrari design. I wouldn't be the first time GM has borrowed styling from Ferrari. Otherwise, the overall proportions and many of the things we see today on the C7 carry over makes me hope that this may be close to the final design.

Not that I could afford it anyway, but I just wanted to prove I really can say something nice on this Forum. Without any refernce to Porsches, thank you very much, Mike.

"This latest one was created by HRE Wheels, with help from Fast Eddy and Aria Group" Was in the article.

I seem to recall the name Aria Group, seems someone said they actually had made this model or something very similar for real. Can't remember where I saw it before. The rear and front fenders look pretty Corvette like.

Ya Phil

Here's where I saw the reference to Aria in a comment on the picture in the board comments.

"This a real mid engine concept car built by Aria. It is by far a rendering. Search "Aria Corvette" online and you read all about it. BTW, HRE wheels are beautiful too. "

And here's the article it came from, showing the front too, with a little connection to GM. Looks like HRE made a few changes in their rendering.

http://blog.caranddriver.com/aria-co...snt-built-yet/

Edit.. Don't really like the front as well as the back, and looks a little broad in the beam. If that's the right word, Phil. But still nice looking, as if I could buy one too.
