I am looking at possibly purchasing a Z06 that is located in Bellevue, WA. I live in Las Vegas, NV and with a small child and a full time job I just can't seem to find the time to fly out there just to check the car out and see if I would buy it.

Is there anyone local that wouldn't mind going to look at the car for me? Inspecting it? Seeing if there are any issues with it in person and possibly even taking it for a test drive? I would pay you for your time and help.

I bought mine from Park Place. It was on consignment. They drive a very hard bargain.

Yea I'm guessing my offer won't get accepted. I offered about $2,500 less than their asking.

They counter offered and I'm just not comfortable going that high, especially considering I also have to pay for shipping which is another $1000 or so.

I found a local car today that is pretty much exactly what I am looking for. The only thing I don't like about it is it is high mileage (66,000 miles) but I talked the guy down to $29,500 and I'm seriously considering buying it.

Shoot, your missing a good bonding with the car, I've bought my last four cars out of state. Just two weeks ago I picked my C5Z in SoCal, and drove it home through pouring rain and even a snow storm. But it was an awesome drive. (and it hasn't even hit 9k miles yet!)

Just be sure it's mechanically sound and has had regular servicing over those 66K miles. Check the harmonic balancer for squeals and the gas tank for leaks. Those are some of the problems with C6's. Others can speak about the valve issues with the C6 Z06.

I want to take it into a shop before purchasing it so I can have it inspected to make sure everything is good and there are no issues. The seller agreed to this so we are going to try to do it next week.

Had seller refused to do that, I'd say you should have run away from it as fast as you could. Good luck!
