New to teh Forum- Saying "HI"
I bought a 2017 Z06 a couple weeks back, but didnt notice the regional sub-forums until I had an interaction with Aaron, so thought I would come and say "HI". I am in the Bothell area and my car is currently undergoing a full car XPEL clear bra install and window tint, so I wont actually have it in my garage for about another week. I am also putting black vinyl wrap on the body color portion between the removable roof and rear window.
Here are a couple pics of it at the shop getting the clear bra installed:

Quite the nice looking car, Craig. It was nice meeting you today - looking forward to seeing you at some of the gatherings/drives this summer!

Thanks Aaron! Pleasure was all mine. Hopefully I will be able to check out your car one day as I have yet to see a yellow Z06 in person.

Welcome to the local forum! I am sure we will see that great looking car at a meet somewhere. My car is wrapped with Expel as well and it sure gives you piece of mind when driving it.
If its ready by Saturday, some of the group is heading to Wenachee for a non-judged car show. Also, check out the Pacific Northwest Caravan Facebook page for information on the upcoming 2019 Caravan to Bowling Green.

I have not seen many C7Z's, but ironically I pulled up next to someone in a black C7Z when picking up my car and driving it back to the dealership (did a dealer swap) and had a quick chat with him while stopped at a stop light. Only other one I have seen is a white C7Z that is parked in the same spot every day in the parking garage ay my work. I *think* I have seen some posts by someone on this forum that fits the criteria of being this cars owner, but havent asked (just in case it would come across weird).

Progress is being made on the car. I decided to take off the "Corvette" letters on the back:
and this is what it looks like with the area between the roof and back window wrapped in black:
Pic above also has XPEL on the entire car. Here is a side shot in the same state:
All that is left to do is Ceramic Pro.... I am still on schedule to pick it up on Friday.. Cant wait!!

OK- I have final pictures now!
This is everything I had done on the car:
1) Entire car has XPEL self healing clear bra
2) Windows are tinted with Prestige PhotoSync (believe I got 25; but its adapts.. Get lighter when darker outside and darker when more light hits the tint)
3) Windshield tinted with Prestige PhotoSync (50% but again, its adaptive)
4) Ceramic Pro applied on top of clear bra (entire car); include applications on wheels, brake calipers, windshield, glass, etc.
5) Took "Corvette" lettering off the back
6) Put black vinyl (with clear bra on top of that) on area between roof and back glass
The exposed carbon fiber has a ton more "depth" to it now; its way more noticeable and really looks sharp! Wife and I took the car out for a quick drive and grabber a few cell phone pictures while letting the car get up to temp:

Your car looks great! Definitely has a glow to it. Since you've owned a variety of cars, I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the Z06.
All I know is my wife said she likes riding shotgun in my Z06 more than in my '08 Corvette coupe - rides better and the seats are more comfortable she said. That's a win all around.
