Default New seats day!!! Corbeau Evolution X fixed backs are in.

If anyone has any questions, or wants to sit in them (lord knows that I NEVER found anyone that has them before I bought these) feel free to ask

I love them, very supportive, but also comfortable. I got the ones with the inflatable lumbar support, which goes a long way for me. Bought them from TPS Motorsports, who is a vendor here on the forum (I buy like everything for this car from forum vendors it seems haha). They really modernize the interior, and jive well with the rest of the aesthetics

Nice. I'm going to need some seats for my 68 Camaro project. I really will need to be able to test sit them first as I'm a fat ***.

Let me know, and I'd be glad to meet ya somewhere. I am a 35" waste, and these are downright roomy for me...WAY better than the Kirkey buckets I used to race in; those things are like sitting in a hog trough.

You are right, seats are a great upgrade for the C5. I went with a similar seat to yours sold by Cipher.

Thanks. I'm sure we'll meet some time. Probably this summer.

Ok, today I made o.160" spacers to mount under the seat frame front mounts on the driver, and it is a much more comfortable seating position for me.

WARNING!!! do NOT get these seats if you have a bad hip, or have difficulty getting in and out of your Vette

HaHa, that's funny you say that Eric. I've had both my hips replaced and they don't give me problems at all but my bad knee is the limiting factor for getting out. I actually think it's easier than the stock seats were since the foam is much firmer. Getting in is easy but out not so much.

The spacers are a great idea, getting the front of the seat up is a better feel for me too.

It might be worse for me because I'm so low. I can palm the ground with the door open
