Default Crazy for Corvettes: Gathering at LeMay SAT July 29th

Hello everyone,
Working with the wonderful staff at LeMay we are able to put together a brief relaxed event we're calling "Crazy for Corvettes" on Saturday July 29th from about 9:30 to 2:30 at LeMay: America's Car Museum in Tacoma. This is open to anyone with a Corvette!

We will be able to park our Corvettes right on Haub Field, there beside the museum . Currently the National Corvette Museum is planning a "Museum in Motion Event" that will cover several days & venues, and their plan is to be at LeMay at the same time we will be, only difference is they will be parking on the plaza right out front, so there should be plenty of Corvettes to admire.

We were able to put together some special pricing for entrance into the museum when you show up with your Corvette (when you want to go in & visit the displays). Just $10 for entrance into the museum & of course all our Corvettes get to park for free on Haub field. This is a savings of $17 over what you usually pay to park and enter the museum.

The displays at the Museum while we are there will be:
EXOTICS@ACM: SEDUCTIVE SUPERCARS
TOOLS OF THE TRADE – POWERING THE WORKING CLASS
LUCKY’S GARAGE: A TRIBUTE TO HAROLD E. LEMAY
ROUTE 66: DREAM OF THE MOTHER ROAD
LEGENDS OF MOTORSPORT: THE NASCAR STORY
CLASSICS AND CUSTOM COACHWORKS
BRITISH INVASION

You can find more information at LeMay's website: https://www.americascarmuseum.org/

Hopefully this sounds like something interesting and fun for you! Feel free to bring a buddy too. If you want to drive on down (or over or up) with your Corvette, then plan on showing up between 9:30 and 10am . Plan on leaving around 2:30pm or so as there is an Ed Sheeran concert at the Tacoma Dome that evening and you will want to be long gone before that, unless you want to attend the concert too

Just so I have a sense of about how many people to expect, please post below that you are interested in coming & bringing your Corvette America's best EXOTIC SEDUCTIVE SUPERCAR.

Also, the PARKING PLAN for the day is attached. We will be parking on Haub Field.

There is a show on Saturday June 24th at Gray Chevrolet. Didn't see anything at that dealership during the MIM 4-day event.

Default There will be 30 Corvettes there with NCM MiM

I was just notified that there will be 30 Corvettes there parked on the LeMay plaza as part of the National Corvette Museum (NCM) Museum in Motion (MiM) event.

Let's try to get at least that many more there at LeMay parked on Haub field to show them how many Corvette Enthusiasts there are here in the Puget Sound Area. Chime in if you will be there.

Default 53 Corvettes so far!

As of July 13th: 23 Corvettes with 33 people have notified me that they will be coming to the "Crazy for Corvettes" Event on Haub field at LeMay in Tacoma. With the 30 Corvettes for the NCM MiM event parked on the plaza that is 53 Corvettes so far

It will be a fun easy time at LeMay & a great day (and inexpensive) to get together with a bunch of other Corvettes and their owners to enjoy looking at Corvettes and all the other displays at LeMay. Join us!

If I can wake up in time day after a trackday, I'll be there with my 17 GS.
Will there be a section for non-polished cars with lots of bug kills?
Thanks for the invite.

Since this isn't really a car show per se, but instead a chance for those of us who are Crazy about our Corvettes to get together, whether we use them for Track, Show, Drag Racing, Daily Driver, or Garage Queen, you will fit right in. It's all about those attending getting to see the various ways we use our Corvettes & a chance for us to get a look at LeMay's latest displays. Maybe you can show up with a cone wedged in somewhere on the Grand Sport? Don't worry if you are late, just park by the other Corvettes on Haub Field.

Shouldn't be a problem leaving somewhat early, there are a few people who will be there that will need to leave to be in the SeaFair Parade.
