Default Drive from Kent to Granite Falls on 7/23

I'm thinking about taking the back roads from Kent to Granite Falls this Sunday morning. It should be around a 2.5 hour drive one way. If anyone is interested in joining in, let me know. If you are north of Kent, we can also hook up in Issaquah.

I used to do this route when I had my motorcycle. Nice mix of curvy sections here and there to keep it interesting. I'm not looking to get a ticket, so nothing too crazy.

This is mainly about the drive. I don't plan to stop much on the way. If I see a spot that looks good for pictures, will stop for that. We can grab lunch in Granite Falls and then, depending on the mood, backtrack or take the fast way home.

Why not take a left at Granite Falls and head to Marysville, to my BBQ joint? I'd be glad to host you, heck, even reserve the dining room for you (32 seats).

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. So far, it's just me and a buddy (Lotus Elise), so no need for the dining room, but maybe we can swing by. Always up for BBQ.

Post next time you plan on doing this drive - it sounds interesting and I'd like to learn some new enjoyable roads!

I love those back roads between Snohomish and Granite Falls. Mountain Loop highway is a good drive too until the gravel starts.
