Thanks John, for the great variety of pics. Especially liked the Alfa GTV6, if only for sentimental reasons. I also appreciate that you captured some shots of significant cars that should remind others that this wonderful gathering is not just a Ferrari or Porsche benefit - not that there's anything wrong with that of course.
What was the gray car? A Noble perhaps?
I certainly hope this weekly tradition continues when the sun pops out again. I've long been hoping to bring out one of the vintage hydros, but it seems they are always torn apart.
Maybe next Spring.

In fact the E@RTC website says March 31, 2018. Of course it is always weather dependent.
And I believe that was a Noble you asked about but because I thought that was what it was I didn't bother to walk over and make sure. I have followed them around Pacific Raceways.

They are cool, John (and Pat) But, like me, they're British. That is to say, like Lotus, TVR, Morgan and others, they tend to be 'bitsa cars and not quite the same as, say, a bespoke Ferrari or Porsche. In some ways that adds to their character. All certainly deserve a place at E&RTC.
Nothing wrong with that of course, and I'd be proud to own any of them. I just wasn't sure what it was in the photo.
Just sayin'

Oh, wait. You're the same age as me. Were you following the in order to find your way to the pit exit? I did that at the Drags at Thun Field once after finishing a brilliant 21.7 second ET and overshot the return road.
Of course, that was about 1965 or so and us old guys know that 21 second times were actually quicker than they are today. I blame Hillary.
The older I get the faster I was. Just sayin'

Followed them around? I'm sure you neglected to mention you were merely setting up a passing move.

Thun Field. You must be referring to Pile-Up raceway. Empty beer bottles being tossed onto the track in the evening from the partying in the grandstands. Don Garlits and his wife arriving one day in his black Dodge pickup pulling his fuel rail on an open single axel trailer. Bill Ireland and Wall to Wall Richard Schroeder in their funny cars.
Who says your memory is the first thing to go?
PS. I forgot about the Noble. Nice cars, just need more motor.

What is the car in between the Pantera and the GTR? Looks kinda like a Porsche but I don't recognize it...
Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks!
